During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really enjoyed the comfortable bedding and the cleanliness of the room. The hotel's location was also a major plus, as it was conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient city wall and other city attractions. Additionally, I appreciated the safe and secure environment of the hotel.

There were a couple of aspects that I didn't particularly enjoy. the lighting in the rooms was not uniform and insufficient, making it difficult to see properly.

Location was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants and coffee shops in the hotel were good.

The hotel is split into two wings and sometimes you have to cross from one wing to the other to reach a restaurant, a coffee shop, the gym or the spa

The hotel had fantastic facilities and the staff were extremely helpful. James, in particular, was a standout with his excellent service. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide range of options. The hotel's location was great and convenient for visiting the main attractions in the city.

It was all superb.

We particularly appreciated the very well trained staff; English speaking staff in the lobby and the excellent staff in the Azur restaurant. The Sofitel gave us a free upgrade to the spacious and well supplied junior suite (two huge windows with window seats !). The breakfast buffet is astounding, and superb quality. Every corner of Sofitel is shining clean and beautifully decorated. You can certainly spend less in Xian, but quality like this would cost a fortune in America or Europe, so why not enjoy some luxury? Not the hotel closest to 'city attractions', but we like to walk.

I really can't think of anything we didn't like. We thought the glass enclosed toilet was odd, but amusing.

The location was excellent, the staff helpfull.

The carpet look like old, it is not fit for five stars grade.

my stay at sofitel xi'an exceeded all expectations! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was wonderful, and the pool and fitness area were top-notch. the breakfast was the best i've ever had and the club access was a perfect way to unwind. absolutely fantastic!

Beautifully designed comfy rooms, breakfast was great and moroccan food main courses was great too

Loved Xi'an, the hotel was perfect and original to sights in town. The room was new-fashioned, moreover neat with a huge bed. Japanese cuisine was served in the barbeque restaurant. We had a nice trip here and recommend.

staff is incredibly nice and you can park your car on-site. the rooms are new-fashioned and nicely furnished, have luxurious bathroom.

We loved our spacious room with a large bed and luxurious bathroom. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Drum/Bell Towers, Muslim Food Street, and the City Wall. The club lounge offered excellent service and a variety of delicious breakfast options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a great experience in Xi'an.

a luxury hotel with a rich delicious buffet

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. A hotel in China which serves three kinds of Birger Muesli at breakfast is definitely topnotch. Also good croissants and great fried rice with beef (also for breakfast). Perfect beds and spotless. Reception and concierge helped me out with some small matters!

Dark hallways and tasteless hotel design. Next time they should try fresh young dutch or scandinavian designers.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, surrounded by beautiful gardens within the city walls. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond, providing excellent service and attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, with a double bed and good air conditioning. The breakfast offers multiple healthy options, including really fresh bakery items.
